Caesarea
Herod the Great built this city and named it in honor of Caesar Augustus and it became the capital of Judea under the Romans. Cornelius, a Roman officer, was converted to Christianity in Caesarea (Acts 10:1, 24). Visit the ancient city, the Roman theatre and exit through the crusade gate.
“And the next day we that were of Paul’s company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him” (Acts 21:8).

Megiddo was identified as the site of Armageddon “And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon” (Rev 16:16). Visit the archaeological excavations at Megiddo, King Solomon gate and the well-preserved water supply system.
Continue to the beautiful port city of Haifa nestled on the Mediterranean Sea for a panoramic view from Mt. Carmel where the crowning event of Elijah’s ministry took place. Elijah the prophet challenged the prophets of Baal to a contest on the Mount:
“How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him” (1 Kings 18:21).
Visit the world famous Persian Baha’i Gardens, then drive to Acre; walk along the old harbor and visit the local market. Acre is composed of many different buildings and today is a UNESCO World Heritage site. This city offers an exciting journey back in time to the crusader era and is home to a mosque, Christian monastery, Turkish Baths, archeological sites and the halls constructed by the Templar knights.
